The preparation of the capital for the autumn-winter period, the protection of critical infrastructure, and the implementation of the Comprehensive Resilience Plan were the main topics of a coordination meeting chaired by the Minister of Reconstruction, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine, Mykola Kalashnyk.
Particular attention was given to the execution of engineering and technical protection works for energy and communal infrastructure facilities, the development of distributed generation, the implementation of cogeneration units, ensuring backup power supply for heating and water supply facilities, as well as adhering to the timelines for implementing measures that determine Kyiv’s readiness for the autumn-winter period.
During the meeting, reports from responsible executors on the implementation of resilience plan measures and adherence to approved schedules were heard. The Minister emphasized that all works must be completed strictly within the designated deadlines, as this concerns critical infrastructure facilities, upon whose functioning the safety and life support of the capital depend.

Responsible executors have been instructed to provide detailed work execution schedules for each facility in the shortest possible time, specifying clear final completion deadlines. The State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine has been tasked with ensuring daily monitoring of work execution at all Comprehensive Resilience Plan facilities, promptly informing the Ministry of any deviations from approved schedules, and immediately responding to risks that may affect project implementation timelines.
